Server HabboS

Credits (often referred to as Coins) are the primary currency on HabboS. They are the lifeblood of the entire Habbo private server economy.

Unlike the original game where Credits cost real money, HabboS operates on a "Free-to-Play" model where Credits are distributed generously to active players, allowing for a high-stakes, fast-paced economic environment.

1. Starting Budget & Wages

HabboS is famous for its "Instant Wealth" approach. We believe players should be able to build immediately without grinding for weeks.

  • Registration Bonus: Every new user receives 38,000 Credits instantly upon creating an account.
  • Activity Wage: The server pays a passive income. Every 15 minutes you are online, you receive 500 Credits.
    • This equals 2,000 Credits per hour.
    • Use the command :balance to check your current funds.

2. Earning More Credits

While 38,000 is a lot, the richest players on HabboS have millions. How do they do it?

Trading & Reselling

The most common method is "Merching" (Merchanting).

  • Buy rare items when they are cheap (low demand).
  • Hold onto them until they become "scare".
  • Sell them for a profit in the Marketplace or trade rooms.

Casino & Gambling

HabboS hosts a massive gambling community. Credits are used as chips.

  • Dicers: Players bet credit furniture (Gold Bars) on dice rolls.
  • Dealers: Casino owners take a small percentage of winnings in exchange for hosting the game.

Events

Staff members host daily events (Wired mazes, chair races, trivia). Winners often receive Credit Bags (GB) or high-value Rares that can be converted back into Credits.

3. Exchangeables (Credit Furniture)

You cannot trade the numbers in your wallet directly in a trade window. Instead, you must convert your Credits into physical items known as Exchangeables.

These are furniture items that have a fixed credit value. Double-clicking them converts them back into spendable coins.

Item Name Icon Value
Bronze Coin 🥉 1 Credit
Gold Coin 🥇 10 Credits
Money Bag 💰 20 Credits
Gold Bar 🧈 50 Credits
Platinum Bar 💍 100 Credits
Diamond Bar 💎 500 Credits

Tip: Always check the value of a bar before accepting it in a trade to avoid scams!

4. Purchasing Power

What can you actually buy with Credits on a Habbo private server?

  • Catalogue Furniture: 95% of the items in the shop cost Credits. This includes building blocks, decor, and standard wired.
  • Marketplace Items: User-sold items are listed for Credits.
  • Username Changes: Some custom features may require a credit fee.
  • Bots: Renting or buying AI bots for your rooms.

5. Inflation & Economy Control

To prevent the economy from crashing (where everyone has trillions of coins and they become worthless), HabboS uses smart "Credit Sinks".

  • Marketplace Tax: A small 1% fee is removed from the game whenever an item is sold via the catalogue marketplace.
  • High-Value Items: Extremely expensive "status symbol" items are released to drain excess credits from rich players.
  • Gambling Tax: Official automated casino machines remove a small percentage of the pot.

6. Trivia

  • In the early days of Habbo, credits were known as "Coins" and looked like gold pieces. HabboS retains this classic look in some custom designs.
  • The maximum amount of credits you can hold in one wallet on HabboS is virtually unlimited, whereas the original game has caps.
