Diamonds are the most exclusive and valuable currency on HabboS. Unlike Credits and Duckets which are given out passively, Diamonds must be actively earned.
Because they are harder to obtain, they hold the highest purchasing power in the economy. If you own a lot of Diamonds, you are considered HabboS Royalty.
1. Why are Diamonds special?
In the original game, Diamonds usually require real money. On HabboS, we follow a "Play-to-Win" philosophy.
- You generally cannot get Diamonds just by standing AFK.
- They are the primary way to buy **Limited Edition Rares (LTDs)**.
- Having a high Diamond balance proves you are a skilled player who wins events.
2. How to Earn Diamonds
Since you don't get them from the hourly wage, you might be asking: "How do I get rich in Diamonds?"
Staff Events (The #1 Way)
The most common way to earn Diamonds is by participating in staff-hosted events.
- Wired Games: Falling Furni, Don't Hit The Wall, Snake.
- Competitions: Costume of the Week, Room of the Week.
- Prizes: Standard event wins often reward 5 - 50 Diamonds depending on the difficulty.
Gamer of the Week (GOTW)
Players who win the most events appear on the leaderboard.
- The top 3 players at the end of the week receive a massive Diamond Bonus (e.g., 500 Diamonds).
Achievements & Leveling
Some "Hard" achievements reward you with a small bag of diamonds upon completion. Check your Talent Track to see which tasks pay out in gems.
3. Spending Diamonds
What can you buy with this premium currency?
Limited Edition Rares (LTDs)
This is the most important use case.
- Every week, an ultra-rare item (LTD) is released in the Catalogue.
- Price: These are almost always sold for Diamonds Only (e.g., 250 Diamonds).
- This ensures that only active players can buy the rarest items, keeping the economy fair.
The Diamond Shop
There is a special section in the Catalogue called "Diamond Exchange".
- Rare Clothing: Halos, Crown items, and exclusive robes.
- Bots: Advanced AI bots that can dance or serve drinks.
- Pet Breeding: Special food or items for pets.
4. Trading Diamonds (Exchangeables)
Can you give Diamonds to a friend? Yes, but not directly via the :pay command.
You must buy Diamond Furniture (Exchangeables) from the shop and trade the item.

5. Tips for New Players
- Do not spend Diamonds on junk. Save them for LTD releases (usually on Sundays).
- Watch out for scams. If someone says "I can trim your armor for diamonds" or "Double your diamonds", they are lying. Only trade using the official trade window.
- Check the Calendar. Look at the website news to see when the next big Event Marathon is hosting. This is the easiest time to farm diamonds.
